This company has been in business with an office that I've passed daily for many years. After asking around I also have many, many friends that had a great experience. I moved March 30th from Oldsmar to Palm Harbor. I have so many good things to say about Big Boys Moving & Storage company that I honestly don't know exactly where I should start. Excellent communication and guidance from their sales department. They helped us plan right up until the day of our move. We've lived in the same home for ten years and did not realize how much junk we had accumulated. My salesperson planned the packing the evening before. They team that arrived were terrific. They packed all my kitchen, my china cabinet and both of my curio cabinets with care. They used blankets and wrap on all of my furniture. The extra special care truly showed with my antiques which included my pride and joy items the grandfather clock and baby grand piano. They took everything apart, wrapped it all and ready for the move leaving just our bed together for us to sleep in that night. The next morning the same Big Boys arrived and got right to work loading their trucks. They moved quickly as a team and their experise again shined bright. We were shocked at how fast they loaded both trucks. The previous day packing and preparations was definitely the way to go. Even though we moved into a smaller home the unload still went just as smooth. We won't be moving again anytime soon but I will surely be spreading the word on how great this company is. If your looking for a smooth stress free move your call to Big Boys will be the absolute best choice that you could make.

Booking with Shelby was an easy process and clearly explained expectations for the time and cost. She proactively reached out the day before to offer a earlier spot in the day which worked well for all.

Alex and Turp, our moving crew, were very careful with our furniture, taking the necessary precautions to pad and wrap each item before loading. They were very collaborative in the process and took time to offer recommendations on which items should be first on/last off. On the delivery side, they setup the furniture where we asked and assembled the pieces that needed it.

Kudos to Alex, Turp, and Shelby for making our move effortless!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $800

I inherited an upright piano from my grandmother. Alex and his coworker took care to well wrap, and lift the piano from her home to mine. The office team was also wonderful about contacting me in a timely manner and ensuring I knew what to expect.

Shelby was so helpful in getting me scheduled, and understanding when the pandemic broke out and I needed to delay the move.

All in all, I am super pleased and plan to use them again anytime I need to move again.

I cannot begin to thank Shelby’s Crew enough! My moms refrigerator quit on her last night and I happened to have a a spare, not being used much, in my garage. With no notice, Shelby helped me problem solve and the best ever crew showed up at my house within a couple hours and delivered to my sweet mom. They treated her so nicely and even took her old fridge to the roadside for pick up. We woke up with a big problem this morning and this company/crew was an absolute Godsend! Many thanks to all!

Hired this gang to move my furniture. They Broke a glass shelf a side panel on my china (which was not included in the items to move). They are refusing to take responsibility of their screw up. Called the bank to dispute charge and probably will get my attorney involved because the refer to their crooked contract and fine print releases. They also round their hours up at $129 per hour and have hidden charges. Their advertised special s are also Awful bait and a hoax. All in all an immoral crooked business!!! Folks, just RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!!

I hired big boys to move some bedroom and office furniture that I had purchased on Facebook marketplace. They picked up the furniture at the location of purchase (2 different locations) and held it for me until I got to Tampa (I was out of town). Then they brought it to my home and set it all up for me. I didn’t want to spend a fortune for movers because it was secondhand furniture, but Big Boys treated me like royalty! I would highly recommend Shelby and her team to anyone, even if it’s just a local move in and around Tampa. Great job!

Pay close attention to POSITIVE REVIEWS. I am in a supervisor in a quality assurance based industry for a very large national corporation. Too many people post reviews when they are having a bad day and never when they get great service. This is why I want to be loud and clear with my factual review and wanted to immediately share my wonderful experience that I had with this Big Boys Moving Company and my movers on this day. I recently used Big Boys Moving & Storage for a local Tampa Bay move. I was very pleased and overly impressed with the efficiency and effectiveness exhibited that day by both the movers and the company management. I did not at any point in time think to myself they were not moving fast enough, or 'get off your phone' or 'what are you doing' – all of the things one would be concerned about when using a new company. They evaluated my move and told me what I could expect financially. As soon as that was done I witnessed them very quickly put together an action plan to execute, versus just winging it as they went along which would take more time, costing me more money. They organized exactly how they would perform this move to get it done as fast as possible both safely (for them and my possessions) and in a timely fashion. They were courteous, polite, and mindful of the surroundings. They never used vulgar language or discussed inappropriate topics in my presence. They helped make what was already a tiresome event into a pleasant transition. I definitely recommend this compa.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - NEVER USE THIS COMPANY Details of items to be moved from 4 bdrm. house to 3 bdrm apt. on 2nd floor given to JOHN.  Specifically requested 26' truck, he advied two men was adequate. Quoted $99 per hr. $59 truck fee NO hidden charges.  Full hourly charge for partial hours.  Inquired re licensing and movers - stated did NOT WANT movers who were not employed by this company full time, no temp. help or sub-contracted movers. JOHN assured me they have their own drivers and trucks.  Movers arrived on time, driving a 24' truck, after walk through house was advised it was going to take SEVERAL trips..contract was reviewed by one mover, quoted price was in order EXCEPT he included a 10% gratituty charge which I questioned.  Answer was, "this part of their salary and without it they could not work for the company as regular pay was not adequate".  Later SUSAN in office refuted statement and said gratituty was "OPTIONAL".  Moving began at 7:37 am and was terminated at 8:42 pm. Movers chose to load boxes and misc. items first leaving furniture to last.   On second trip while unloading at 3:30 pm I questioned  "how much longer this was going to take since I still had furniture that was needed to be put together, beds assembled and time was running out"  SUSAN at the office was contacted re situation, she called movers and was told they had approx. 40 more min. to unload before returning for furniture. I objected because that meant they would not be through until 8:30 or later, I had two children who needed to be in bed by then, had no beds for them or the adults to sleep on yet. According to driver of truck, SUSAN told them to STOP unloading, return to house and get items I had "requested", little to my knowing this conversation.  Returning, with the truck half full, there was not room for ALL remaining items  WHICH HAD TO BE LEFT AT THE HOUSE.  SUSAN and I have several heated discussions re completion of the move after which she advised full payment was necessary BEFORE ANY UNLOADING WOULD TAKE PLACE she said the contract stipulated to this action and I advised that the contract also was for a COMPLETE move which had not occurred.   I ask what she planned to arrange for the remainder items left at the house to which she stated " she would try to send another crew the next day to finish". Obviously I had had enough of BIG BOYS MOVING. I was left with the responsibility of finding friends and renting a truck to complete the move, financially I could not afford another mover. 
Additionally, the few pieces of furniture they did move was left sitting in my living room, still wrapped in black plastic, no bed frames made it to the apartment, none of the furniture was assembled and even parts needed to assemble was left at the house we moved out of. This company is a complete scam and should not be allowed to continue misrepresenting themselves to the consumer. Never, never ever hire them for your move. I am contacting each and every agency available to expose their practices and wish them nothing but anguish and lost customers. Stay away at all cost.    .

Wow what a great choice my wife made. She's always right! So the long process of finding the best movers in Tampa Bay came to a end.. And again my wife was correct. She got us the best rate and I'll tell you the best company. We had a challenging 4 bedroom that had heavy stuff and stuff that had to be protected. Not only was it protected but it was done in a timely manner. Great attitudes, great service!! Thank you Big Boys I will be referring you to all my friends..

The company was fair and helpful, but the movers were amazing! You have no ideas the nightmare I was prepared for. Moving has not been the best experience in the past. Terell and Max showed up on time, Kept me updated until their arrival, and were very professional and courteous. You should've seen how fast these two moved. Strong and quick, they had me done in less than 3 hours(and the right way). They showed total respect for myself, my pet, and my property. Everything made it, and in one piece. I'll be calling here next time I move, for sure.

Yesterday, I was "moved" by Big Boy Moving and I still have a full U-Haul size worth of things that needs to be brought over. I described what I had - a 3 bedroom house, 1285 square feet - and they brought a 24' truck. Please keep in mind, I spent all of last week hauling boxes - an average of 9 boxes a day - so that all they had to do was get the 15 standard Rubbermaid totes from the garage, the Christmas tree box, the lawn mower, our daughter's bike, washer, dryer, small chest freezer, and roughly 15 pieces of furniture from inside.. they left over half of it!! Just as an example, they brought bookcases but no shelves, my dining room table and 5 of the 6 chairs, my sewing machine cupboard but left my expensive sewing machine.

The movers themselves, Josh and Kyle, were nice - though Kyle asked if he could have pieces of furniture that we weren't taking, which was awkward - but they were clumsy. They dropped my bedside table, breaking items inside. They nicked my husband's dresser and my black bookcase. The dinged the walls in both houses.. it was just a nightmare. The 50 minute drive took them an hour and a half - and I stopped for gas in my car and still beat them by 20 minutes!! They smoked in the cab of the truck so now some of my linens have a smoky smell to them and my daughter and I both have asthma. This was just a hot mess from the start.

I have already brought over 4 car loads of left over things and I have about six more car loads to go. I have had to enlist the help of family members over a holiday weekend to finish moving the items out of my old house. I have never been so displeased in my entire life - and I have moved my fair share.

I would not recommend using this company for any type of moving or storage at all.. I may have saved $120 in quoted price but it cost me so much more in the end.

I recently relocated from Westchase to Odessa. I asked around for movers with my circle of friends. Big Boys Moving and Storage were recommended to me by several happy customers. Immediately, upon calling, the sales person and their team made the process of setting up an absolute breeze. On the day of moving, I was still scrambling to get everything packed. The Big Boys were incredibly helpful and assisted me with getting the remaining things organized. The move itself was incredibly efficient. The guys moved my entire 1700 sq ft townhouse in just a few hours. They were extremely polite and careful with all of my belongings. Moving is always an extremely stressful process. Big Boys Moving and Storage made it an easy experience. I cannot thank them enough. They are an incredible value and I would recommend them to ANYONE that needs reliable, polite, efficient, and overall amazing service at a much lower rate than most of the other companies I received quotes from. Thanks again Big Boys, You guys are great!!

The moving coordinator Amanda was friendly, fast, and efficient! With less than 1 day's notice, my move was met with enthusiasm and professionalism. The movers were actually 30 minutes early, and wasted no time getting things on the truck. Robert H. and Cameron were a spectacular team! They were very courteous and respectful, detail oriented and showed a genuine interest in getting things exactly where we wanted them, how we wanted them!! The whole move took under 5 hours, including an hour and a half drive to the new house. I would not hesitate to call on this company, and specifically this dynamic duo of a moving team in the future!!

We just moved this weekend, and we couldn't have done it without Robert H. & Cameron from Big Boys!

The whole experience was terrific. I received a written quote from Amanda, which other companies did not provide without a home visit. She followed up while I decided what company to use and gave me criteria to look for with their competitors. She offered us a discount because my husband is a veteran.

The day of the move, Robert H. & Cameron arrived on time and got straight to work. They were extremely polite and efficient. They had to endure the stairs at our old place, but they didn't complain about it once. We were not as ready as we could've been, but they worked with us and around us while we finished our packing.

At the new site, they unloaded everything and made sure to inquire about where items were to be placed (we moved a lot of stuff to different rooms). They congratulated us on our new home and seemed genuinely excited for us.

We finished our entire move in a little less than 5 hours, and that was impressive! Their efficiency helped us stay on budget.

I would recommend Big Boys to everyone!
